Botox and Dysport are injectable neuromodulators used to smooth and prevent wrinkles by temporarily relaxing specific muscles in the face. These muscles are responsible for creating the expressions that can lead to wrinkles over time, like frowning or squinting. Botox and Dysport can also be used to weaken especially strong muscles like those in the mouth and jaw which can cause a gummy smile, wide jaw, TMJ, and neck pain. Treating areas that naturally pull down over time, like in the neck and jawline creates a nice, natural lift and contour.
