Your PRP & PRF Appointment at Skinship
Your appointment begins with a consultation and personalized assessment to determine whether PRP or PRF is right for your goals. After a simple blood draw, your platelets are processed and used to rejuvenate the skin or stimulate hair growth. Most appointments take 45 to 60 minutes with little downtime.
PRP vs. PRF:
Which Treatment Is Right for You?
PRP and PRF are both regenerative treatments that use your body's own platelets to stimulate collagen and tissue repair. The right option depends on your treatment area, skin concerns, and desired outcome.
PRP is commonly used for microneedling and hair restoration, while PRF contains a higher concentration of healing cells and releases growth factors more gradually, making it an excellent option for under-eye rejuvenation and natural facial restoration. During your consultation, we'll recommend the approach that's best for you.
PRP and PRF Pricing in Atlanta
At Skinship, PRP and PRF treatments are customized to your unique anatomy and treatment goals. Pricing varies based on the treatment area, whether your procedure is combined with microneedling, and the number of sessions recommended.
Because collagen regeneration happens gradually, many patients achieve the best results through a personalized treatment plan. During your consultation, we'll review your recommendations and provide transparent pricing before treatment begins.

Plan ahead
Book your treatment at least 2 weeks before a wedding, vacation, photoshoot, or special event. While downtime is minimal, mild bruising or swelling can occur.Stay hydrated
Drink plenty of water the day before and the day of your appointment. Well-hydrated patients often experience an easier blood draw and optimal platelet collection.Eat beforehand
Have a healthy meal within a few hours of your appointment to help prevent lightheadedness during the blood draw.Skip alcohol
Avoid alcohol for at least 24 hours before treatment, as it can increase bruising and dehydration.Avoid blood thinners
Unless medically necessary, avoid NSAIDs (Advil, Aleve, Ibuprofen, Aspirin), fish oil, vitamin E, and other blood-thinning supplements for 5 to 7 days beforehand. If you take prescription blood thinners, please let us know before your appointment.Come with clean skin
If you're having a facial treatment, arrive with clean skin and no makeup whenever possible. -

Avoid retinoids, exfoliants, acids, and other active skincare products for 3 to 5 days, or until your skin has fully recovered.Protect your results
Wear SPF 30+ daily and avoid prolonged sun exposure while your skin is healing. For any soreness
Tylenol (acetaminophen) may be taken if needed. Avoid NSAIDs for 24 to 48 hours after treatment unless medically necessary, as they may interfere with your body's natural healing response. What's normal
